I have an HP laptop, and I want to know how can I get my laptop to recognize a third monitor.

The specs of your machine is

Its USB-C is hopeless in terms of video out. You can connect (assuming 2 external monitors + main display)

 

M1: HDMI direct cable

M2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
