Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
My HP G5 255 does not boot to desktop , when I power it, it shows a boot menu with two options
1. FreeDos
2.HP Documents
What should I do , I just bought it and it's the first time I'm switching it on

You can download Windows installation ISO and create a bootable USB using Microsoft windows media creation tool. But you need Windows licence to activate it after installation. You can buy activation licence directly from Microsoft.

Has it come pre installed with an operating system?

See the specs on the outer cover in which it came.

I don't know if it did , but it is

If it has come within Free Dos, that means no Windows operating system is pre installed.

So what you can do now is to buy windows licence and installation media to install it on your machine.
