Hi @dadiva123,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that your HP laptop is freezing and glitching, and you're also having difficulty opening files.
You mentioned that the laptop has been dropped twice and now has a bump and an opening near the bottom of the keyboard. Since there is visible physical damage, I recommend having the notebook inspected before continuing with software troubleshooting.
Accidental damage caused by dropping a computer is considered Customer Induced Damage (CID) and is generally not covered under the standard HP warranty. If the notebook does not have applicable Accidental Damage Protection, the repair may be provided as a chargeable service.
Please take the notebook to an HP Authorized Service Center so the technician can inspect the physical damage and determine the appropriate repair.
You can locate an HP Authorized Service Center here: HP® Service Center Locator - Africa | HP® Support
Please call the service center before visiting.
Once the hardware condition has been checked, any remaining Windows or HP Wolf Security issues can be addressed separately if required.
Take care and have a good day.
I'm an HP Employee.
