my laptop can't take a screen shot by pressing, windows-prt sc keys

i have just installed windows on my laptop and i realised that some keyboard shortcuts are not working, such taking a screen shot, increasing the brightness, the mute button

have followed the instructions from visruth but in vain

What happens when you press "fn" key along with the function keys you need shortcuts for.

the brigthness and volume shortcuts have now worked after restarting the machine. but pressing fn + f10 my shortcut for the muting , no response is effected.

have already installed and restart but the problem persists, the mute button on the keyboard isn't responding when pressed

i did downloaded the all the drivers you recommended. by doing so, the brightness and volume buttons responded well
