My touch pad along with the right and left click buttons is malfunctioning. The right click keep popping up the dialogue box as such other keys are not working. Please I need solution on how to fix this so I can use my laptop effectively

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.
To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this:
- Did this happen after a recent power outage or surge?
- Did it occur after a recent software or Windows update?
- Please provide the complete model# or product# of the computer to assist you correctly.
For now, try these steps:
Control zone touchpad –
You could try changing the way the control zone touchpad works, using the below steps:

On the Start screen, type control panel, then click Control Panel from the list of results.

Click the View by drop-down menu, and select large icons.

Click HP Control Zone.

Remove the check mark next to Enable Edge Swipes, then click OK.
The left and right control zones now accept right-click and left-click actions.
For more details, click here Now check if the issue gets fixed. If it continues, perform the steps mentioned below.
To install the Synaptics drivers please try these steps:
- Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand Mice and other pointing devices>then select the touchpad drivers and right-click on it and uninstall the Synaptics touch drivers. Then check the box delete the software for this device.
- Now restart the computer. Then install the bios, chipset and touchpad Synaptics drivers from this link: http://hp.care/2syreDe and select the country and type the product# of the notebook. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
- Please check if this fixes the issue.
