help me attach a link or any solution for my touch screen to function again

Hi @Dhobuazi,

 

If you are experiencing issues with the touchscreen on your HP Elite x2 1012 G2 Tablet, please try the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Restart Your Device

    • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor touchscreen issues.
  2. Calibrate the Touchscreen

    • Open the Control Panel.
    • Go to Hardware and Sound.
    • Select Tablet PC Settings.
    • Under the Display tab, select Calibrate and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Update or Reinstall Touch Screen Driver

    • Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
    • Enter your device model and download the latest touchscreen driver.
    • Alternatively, open Device Manager, locate Human Interface Devices, right-click on the touchscreen driver, and choose Update driver or Uninstall device. Then restart your device to reinstall the driver automatically.
  4. Run Windows Troubleshooter

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Update & Security.
    • Select Troubleshoot and then Additional troubleshooters.
    • Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
  5. System Update

    • Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security and select Check for updates.
