Hi @iuvteyrecrytvry,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I’ve reviewed the image you shared. It shows the Windows Boot Manager screen with the following details:

  • Error Code: 0xc000000f
  • File: \windows\system32\winload.efi
  • Info: “The application or operating system couldn’t be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors.”

This typically means the boot configuration data (BCD) is corrupted or missing, or the system files required to start Windows are damaged.

How to Fix Error 0xc000000f on HP Laptop (Windows 10)

1. Create a Windows Installation Media

2. Boot from USB

  • Insert the USB into your HP laptop.
  • Turn it on and press Esc repeatedly, then select Boot Menu (F9).
  • Choose the USB drive.

3. Repair Your Computer

  • On the Windows Setup screen, click Repair your computer (bottom-left).
  • Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt.

4. Rebuild Boot Configuration Data

In Command Prompt, type:

       bootrec /fixmbr

       bootrec /fixboot

       bootrec /scanos

       bootrec /rebuildbcd

Press Enter after each command.

5. Run System File Check

       sfc /scannow
