Hi @samzyjackson,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP computer has booted into UEFI Diagnostics, it means the system detected a potential hardware issue, or you may have accidentally triggered the diagnostics mode. Here's what you can do:
1. Let the Diagnostics Run
- If it's already running a test, let it complete.
- It will show Pass or Fail results for each component.
2. If You See a Menu
You might see options like:
- System Tests
- Component Tests
- Hard Drive Test
- Memory Test
You can:
- Run Quick Test first.
- If issues are found, run the Extensive Test.
3. If All Tests Pass
- Press Esc or click Main Menu > Exit.
- Restart your PC.
- If it boots normally, you're good to go.
4. If a Test Fails
- Note down the Failure ID (a long alphanumeric code).
- Visit HP Support Diagnostics and enter the code.
- Or contact HP Support with the code for repair options.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
