pavilion tx2000
Microsoft Windows Vista

my notebook (pavilion tx2000, vista 32-bit) got virus, cannot execute/setting any new application.  i need a factory restore disk (media) or any system recovery backup disk to restore/reset the notebook.  Hp do not support this product anymore, i need help.

Hi:

 

There is only one place that I know of where you would be able to find those disks and that would be from this site.

 

http://www.computersurgeons.com/search.aspx?searchterm=+tx2000

 

There are 4 tx2000 PC's shown, so you would need to select the set that matches your notebook's product number.

 

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Yes, the recovery kit will reinstall Windows Vista and all of the programs and drivers that originally came with your PC.
