Hi:
The last BIOS update HP released for your notebook was F.38
Info:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501/sp46501.html
Exe:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46501.exe
The update file was only designed to be run on Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Once again, I caution you that if you run the BIOS update in Windows 10, you could permanently damage your notebook making it unusable if the update fails to run correctly.

Hi:
The dv5-1100 notebook model series was not supported by HP for W10.
There would only be BIOS update files to be run in Windows 7.
Updating the BIOS when running Windows 10 could permanently damage your notebook.
If you want to take the risk anyway, let me know if your notebook has an AMD or Intel processor, and I will see what BIOS update file I can find.
