need help with pairing a HP Bluetooth Mini speaker 300 to my phone via blue tooth

BASIC instruction on how to get the min speaker to pair with my phone?

Pairing ANY bluetooth (BT) device is basically the same:

1) Open the BT settings on the phone

2) Press the button on the device that puts in into pairing mode -- LED on the device then usually starts blinking, indicating it is in pairing mode

3) Should get a prompt on the phone asking to pair the device.  May need to enter a code, usually 0000

4) LED on the device should turn soiid color

5) Phone should indicate device has been paired.
