Hi @aman186
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ML110 server is displaying a "No storage installed" message, it usually indicates that the system is unable to detect any hard drives. Here are some steps to troubleshoot this issue:
1. Check Physical Connections
- Power down the server and unplug it.
- Open the server case and check the physical connections to the hard drives:
- Ensure that power cables are securely connected.
- Check SATA or SAS cables for proper connection to both the motherboard and the drives.
2. Inspect Drives
- If possible, reseat the drives by removing them and re-inserting them into their bays.
- If you have multiple drives, try testing them one at a time to see if any are recognized.
3. Check BIOS Settings
- Power on the server and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10 or Esc during startup).
- Look under the storage or drives section to see if the drives are recognized.
- Ensure that the storage controller settings (like AHCI or RAID) are configured correctly based on your setup.
4. RAID Configuration (if applicable)
- If you’re using a RAID configuration, check the RAID controller settings in the BIOS or RAID management utility.
- Make sure the array is healthy and that the drives are configured correctly.
5. Run Hardware Diagnostics
- If your server has built-in diagnostics (often available in the BIOS), run those to check the status of the hard drives.
6. Test with Another Drive
- If you have access to another compatible hard drive, try connecting it to see if the server recognizes it. This can help determine if the issue lies with the original drives.
7. Check for Firmware Updates
- If possible, check HP's support site for any firmware updates for your server and storage controller. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause detection issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
