@hgghjjjhh, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP laptop might have a hardware issue, potentially related to the motherboard, RAM, or hard drive. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect the charger and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reconnect only the charger (without the battery) and try powering it on.

2. Check for Beep or LED Blink Codes

  • If the Caps Lock or Num Lock LED blinks in a pattern, it indicates a hardware failure. Count the blinks and check HP's official support site for error codes.

3. Reseat RAM and Hard Drive

  • If comfortable, remove the back panel and reseat the RAM and hard drive to ensure they are properly connected.

4. Try Booting with One RAM Stick (If You Have Two)

  • If you have two RAM sticks, try booting with one at a time in different slots to identify a faulty module.

5. External Display Test

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor using HDMI or VGA to check if the issue is with the internal display.

6. Listen to the Hard Drive Noise

  • A long noise from the hard drive might indicate failure. If possible, try booting from a USB drive to rule out hard drive issues.

Let me know how it goes!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
