Hi @v7300,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that having an old PC with outdated drivers can be frustrating, especially if it affects performance. I'd be happy to help!
Before We Proceed
Could you please provide your PC model name or number? This will help in finding the correct drivers for your system.
Meanwhile, Here Are Some Steps to Update Your Drivers:
1. Use Windows Update
- Open Settings → Click Windows Update.
- Click Check for Updates and install any available driver updates.
2. Update Drivers via Device Manager
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand categories (e.g., Display Adapters, Network Adapters).
- Right-click a device and select Update Driver → Search automatically for drivers.
3. Download Drivers from HP’s Website
- Go to HP Support.
- Enter your PC model name and download the latest drivers.
4. Use HP Support Assistant (For HP Devices)
- Download HP Support Assistant from HP’s website.
- Open it and click Check for Updates and Messages.
5. Check for BIOS Updates (If Needed)
- If your system is very old, a BIOS update might help, but it should be done carefully.
Let me know your PC model so I can guide you further!
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
