wife tried to delete stuff that comes with windows to make run faster. Unfortunately now, the network adapter, wifi, volume are not recognized buy the system. Run recovery, uninstalled adapters, restart and nothing. I was thinking on buying a Windows DVD and re-install. Can anybody please help.

No need to buy DVD, you can use the following resource

           https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

to create ISO file then mount ISO file as DVD drive and run Setup from there. You can keep existing your files and programs if you wish.
