i have an hp AIO df000 serious.

i tried changing my nvme card with a bigger capacity. since then the computer doesn't recoginze the old and the new one a same.

can anyone one help me to figure out where is the problem.

the bios doesn't show the card neither. tha same as for windows.

I understand your NVMe SSD is not being recognized in BIOS or Windows after replacing it. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

   a. Power Off and Reseat the SSD
     • Shut down the PC and disconnect the power cable.
     • Open the access panel, remove the NVMe SSD, and gently clean the gold contacts if dusty.
     • Reinsert the SSD firmly at a 30° angle and push it down until it clicks under the screw.

   b. Check for Physical Damage or Obstructions
     • Inspect the M.2 slot on the motherboard for bent pins, dust, or damage.
     • Ensure the SSD screw and standoff are not loose or missing.

   c. BIOS Storage Settings
     • Power on the PC and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
     • Go to Storage / Device Configuration and check if M.2/PCIe/NVMe is enabled.
     • If SATA mode is available, make sure it’s set to AHCI, not RAID or IDE.
     • Save and restart.

   d. Reset BIOS to Default Settings
     • In BIOS, press F9 (Load Setup Defaults), then F10 to save and exit.
     • This clears any incorrect configuration that might be blocking NVMe detection.

   e. Clear CMOS (if BIOS reset doesn’t work)
     • Disconnect power → press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
     • Open the back cover → remove the CMOS battery for 5 minutes.
     • Reinsert the battery, plug in power, and start the PC.
