Hi
I've just solved my issue thansk to 2 videos that you can hereafter

Firstly, the code 3 long +2 shorts (sound or capslock flash) refers to a RAM defect. That being said, it is not necessarily the RAM Stick that is not working, it can be the RAM slot. And it seems that several HP model have a weak design on that point

That being said, happily on the G6 I happen to have 2 RAM slot => I therefore opened it and switch the ram stick position

Put everything in position, press start => It takes a few seconds (just as is PC was reinitialising to use the 2 slot) and yes, it works
Here are the 2 videos i used to fix this
in English : FIXED No Display HP 3 Long Beeps 2 Short Beeps Capslock - YouTube

in French (fixing the slot if you happen to only have 1): HP 14-CE Clignote sur Capslock 3 fois long 2 fois court - CA #55 - YouTube

Hope it helps
