Hi @Garima125,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having trouble managing your OneDrive account on your HP laptop. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Sign Out and Sign In Again:
- Open the OneDrive application on your laptop.
- Click on your profile picture or initials in the upper-right corner.
- Choose "Sign Out" from the dropdown menu.
- Restart your laptop.
- Open OneDrive again and sign in with the account you want to use.
Unlink OneDrive:
- If you want to completely unlink OneDrive from your HP laptop:
- Right-click on the OneDrive icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of the screen).
- Select "Settings" and go to the "Account" tab.
- Click "Unlink this PC" and confirm your choice.
Reinstall OneDrive:
- Sometimes reinstalling the OneDrive application can resolve syncing and login issues:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type appwiz.cpl and press Enter to open the Programs and Features window.
- Find Microsoft OneDrive in the list, right-click it, and select "Uninstall".
- Restart your laptop.
- Download and reinstall OneDrive from the official Microsoft website.
Check for Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows and OneDrive applications are up to date:
- Open Settings (Win + I), go to "Update & Security".
- Click on "Check for updates" and install any available updates.
Reset OneDrive:
- If the issue persists, you can try resetting OneDrive:
- Press Win + R, type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset, and press Enter.
- This command resets the OneDrive app and might resolve syncing and login issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
