Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi everybody,
I have a Pavilion DV6-6080 notebook pc
product number: A7N34EA#ABB
for some reason, I can't install windows 10 on my laptop. I figured it out that my laptop have much more than the minimum requirements for windows 10 but every time I try, the process going to fail again and again.
I read somewhere that the laptop series of mine does not support windows 10!
is it possible?

Could you be very specific ?

What exactly fails ? How exactly you try to install Windows 10 ?

Upgrade over Windows 7 ? Clean Windows 10 installation ? USB or DVD or ISO ?

Please, provide specific errors, take pictures and post them back here...

as I read through the community similar questions. it's because of the product manufacturing year.
I bought this laptop in 2012 and it seems that HP does not develop windows 10 drivers for manufactures before august 2013. right?

it is so unbelievable 
I have friends with other brands products from previous years and they updated to win10 as soon as it released.

With all due respect, I never said something was possible or not possible. I just asked you a couple of questions because I really want(ed) to help you fix this or provide some workaround.

 

If you are willing to troubleshoot this, please....

  • Could you be very specific ?
  • What exactly fails ? How exactly you try to install Windows 10 ?
  • Upgrade over Windows 7 or Clean Windows 10 installation ? USB or DVD or ISO ?
  • Please, provide specific errors showing what fails, take pictures and post them back here...
