os reinstall

My laptop hard drive is replaced so I have to reinstall my windows in it. I had created a usb drive using HP Cloud recovery tool. and when i boot using the usb, Initially all softwares are installing well after 1 hour laptop got an error saying recovery is failed

I had created usb 2-3 times and booting it many times but always got the error .

Can anyone tell what to do

Hi:

If the cloud recovery tool doesn't work, your only other option would be to clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

I had genuine windows installed in my system earlier. How to activate it again as i don't have product key. Initially hp support said that i don't had to take any details so i did't take product key

The Windows product key is in your notebook's BIOS. 

You don't need it to reinstall Windows. 

It will be genuine as well. 

The only difference is that you will have to install the drivers and software.

And what about the Microsoft office premium  that comes with the laptop. I will loose the subscription of that

Yes, you won't be able to get that software unless there is a way to get it from Microsoft.

You would need the product key.

Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2019 on a PC or Mac
