Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
If your partitions are not showing up after updating the OS on your HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg2019TX, here are a few steps to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check Disk Management
- Press Windows + X and select Disk Management.
- Look for any partitions listed as Unallocated or without a drive letter.
- If found:
- Right-click the partition and choose Change Drive Letter and Paths.
- Click Add, assign a letter, and click OK.

Step 2: Update Storage Drivers
Sometimes, after an OS update, storage drivers may need to be reinstalled or updated.
- Visit the HP Pavilion 15-eg2019TX Drivers Page.
- Download and install the latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) driver under the Storage section.
- Restart your laptop and check if the partitions appear.
Step 3: Use HP Hardware Diagnostics
To rule out hardware issues:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
- Run the Hard Drive Test.
Step 4: If Reinstalling Windows
If you recently reinstalled Windows and no drives were detected during setup, you may need to load the IRST driver manually:
- Follow this guide: HP PCs - No drives can be found during Windows installation
