problem with MS office home & student 2019 about size of picture

For 3 days in Microsoft Office Home & student 2019 which is in my laptop. Whenever a picture size 3”x7”5 is pasted on a page Microsoft 2019 converted it in size 2”6 X 6.”5. And after the correction is done, if that picture is pasted in a new page, Microsoft 2019 converts again in size 2”6 X 6.5”. What has to be done to correct that problem?
