Thank you so much for your response @viajero1

Thank you for sharing the screenshot we can clearly see that you’ve reached the HP Support Assistant home screen (“Bienvenido a HP Support Assistant”) after installing the wizard. You are very close to completing the fix for the ShellExperienceHost.exe issue.

Let us guide you through the next exact steps inside this screen:

1. Add Your Device (if not already added)

At the top area of the window:

  • Click “Agregar dispositivo” (Add Device) or “+”
  • Allow the tool to detect your PC automatically

2. Go to Updates Section

Once your device appears:

  • Click on “Actualizaciones” (Updates) OR
  • Select “Buscar actualizaciones y mensajes” (Check for updates and messages)

This step is critical because ShellExperienceHost errors are often caused by:

  • Corrupted system components
  • Missing Windows or driver updates

3. Install All Recommended Updates

  • Install ALL available updates, especially:
    • BIOS updates
    • Graphics driver updates
    • Chipset/system updates

4. Run Diagnostics

From the same screen:

  • Click “Correcciones y diagnósticos” (Fixes & Diagnostics)
  • Run:
    • System Check
    • Performance Tune-up Check

5. Restart the Computer

After applying updates and diagnostics:

  • Restart your PC completely

Have a great day!

Hi. Following your instructions, I logged in; my computer appears on the left, and it initially showed no updates. However, I clicked the button, and it then stated that "Your software and drivers are up to date."

But I don't know where to look to check for:
- BIOS updates
- Graphics driver updates
- Chipset/system updates.

That covers step 3; I will continue with step 4 in the next message.

When I start step 4, "Run diagnostics"—
From that same screen:

Click on “Correcciones y diagnósticos” (Repairs and diagnostics)...

...another page opened up and I had to log in again. Now I’m seeing the screen I’ve pasted here. I’m lost again, so I’m sharing the screenshot and hoping for your help. Thanks.

Y si hago clic en "Diagnóstico", se abre la pantalla que pego aquí, y no sé dónde ir para hacer lo que dijiste sobre "Ejecutar":
Comprobación del sistema
Comprobación de optimización del rendimiento

Is it the option at the top left that says "problem with the Windows operating system"?

I understand that posts need to be in English; I’ve tried to ensure that for all of them, but I slipped up on the last one. Regarding the PC serial number for checking BIOS updates—I’m not sure which serial number you mean, but if I provide the model and year of purchase, could you find that BIOS information?

Regards.

Thank you so much for the response. @viajero1

We would need the serial number of the PC to provide you the BIOS update. However, please follow the instructions provided in the link below on how to check the serial number of the printer and please send it to us on private message. Private Messages - HP Support Community

Hola, el enlace que pego aquí es el que se abre cuando quiero enviar un mensaje privado, pero ¿a quién se lo envío? En otras palabras, ¿qué destinatario debo pegar o escribir?

Saludos.
