hp probook 440 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my hp probook 440 g4 laptop processing i very much slow. Earlier is was not tha much slow but now after 2-3 year of usages the processing of this is so much slow and delayed , each time while open an application i've to wait for some time to open it . what should i do for this .......? 

please suggest.......

Hi,

What CPU do you have in the notebook.

 

Probably the best idea would be to replace the Hard Drive with a 2.5" SATA 3 SSD and perform a clean install of the OS on it. It would give a great boost to everyday performance.

On apge 34 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

You can create a USB with Windows on it before replacing the drive by downloading the media creation tool.

Download Windows 10

 

You can then use this USB drive to install Windows. Once installed go into settings and compltly update the notebook so Windows will find drivers.
