Microsoft ended the free upgrade from W7>W10 quite a while ago.

If you recently (within the last 1.5 years) updated from W7>W10 you will need a W10 product key to activate Windows.

If you upgraded to W10 within the last 10 days, I recommend you go back to W7 until you can buy a new notebook rather than spending money for a W10 product key now that W10 has gone out of support by Microsoft.

I upgraded it like 3 years back, I don't know why it's showing activate windows, now I can't use my MICROSOFT Word & Excel

If you reinstalled W10, you were supposed to select the version of W10 you had upgraded from W7 (Home or Pro).

Then you should have been asked to enter a product key.

You select the 'I don't have a product key' option and W10 should install and activate after you are connected to the internet.

If all of a sudden after 3 years, Windows is asking to be activated, no one here can help you with that, and I suggest that you contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
