HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0237tu

Hello

After using my computer for a while, text on the screen starts to blur or become fuzzy. Is there any?

This issue doesn't occur at fixed intervals; rather, the symptoms repeatedly appear and disappear on their own. However, restarting the computer temporarily resolves the issue.

@YZZ, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your screen flickering and blurry text issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Since a restart temporarily fixes the issue, it could be related to display drivers, software settings, or even the refresh rate. Let's try a few steps to narrow it down:

Update Display Drivers – Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause display issues. Try updating your graphics driver through Device Manager or by downloading the latest version from HP official site.

Check Scaling & Resolution – Go to Settings > Display and ensure that the recommended resolution and scaling are selected. If they already are, try adjusting them slightly and see if it makes a difference.

Refresh Rate – Navigate to Settings > Display > Advanced Display Settings and check if you can increase the refresh rate.

Test in Safe Mode – Booting into Safe Mode can help determine if a third-party app or driver is causing the issue. If the text appears fine in Safe Mode, an installed app or background process might be interfering.

Windows Updates – Make sure your Windows OS is up to date, as Microsoft sometimes releases fixes for display-related issues.

If the problem persists, let me know, and we can explore more troubleshooting options. Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
