We are having multiple machines randomly getting in to no boot situations.

"Hard Disk 3F0 boot device not found" error on your HP EliteBook 845 G11 and ZBook Firefly 14 G10.

 

On investigating further its noticed that impacted machines are showing no partitions and All HP PC Hardware Diagnostics test passed hard drive self test passed both quick and extensive

Are there any known issue and it appears to be started in last couple of months

We have noticed the same issue with Zbook Firefly 14 G10 A. A small percentage of them get this error, even a few days fresh out of the box. This is not happening to our other HP models.

The steps in HP PCs - Hard disk 3F0 boot device not found error | HP® Support don't resolve the issue; all the tests pass, yet no drive is detected. The drive sitll doesn't work when put in a different laptop.
