The chromebook is either failing to boot up or there is a hardware error with the display.
The power supply is fine and the LED on the device is indicating a charge, but when you hit the power button the screen flashes and then goes dark.
When I try to look up a support contact using the device serial number, I see that I have 6 months remaining on the manufacturer warranty, but also I get the message that: "This product is no longer serviced by HP. You may search for possible solutions on this support website." There are no support contacts given other than this site.
How do I contact someone at HP to get this fixed?

Hi @MattTheMinion,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Ok, so going to my region following the steps to get the right contact information takes me to a page that only says:
"This product is no longer serviced by HP. You may search for possible solutions on this support website."
Is there some page where they have an email address, form, or phone number, or do I need to put in the serial number of a device that is currently supported in order to get support on the one that isn't working?
