I am getting the same thing twice this week. Can't find if its legitimate.

As near as I can tell, it is NOT legitimate.  But, HP has not been helpful at all!  Their support is non-existent, and they have done nothing to tell their customers to ignore it....and nothing seems to stop it, either.  My Norton, lets it through all the time, but only on my Windows 11 PC.  My Windows 10 PC, I never see the pop-up.

I get the same, seems like every time I log on to my computer. I have come to the conclusion from other replies that it's fake. Now, I want to know how to stop it from popping up! This is so frustrating, with no response from HP!!😡

The message I get says it is from HP and that HP authorizes this program. It seems that I get this message regularly so I have been checking to see if it is a scam. I did some of these suggested actions a few days ago and got another warning today. I used to do all kinds of registry modifications before I got laptops. I got Windows back with 3.1 I think it was. BSOD was never fun.
