HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC

Hello Respected

 

I had HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC  laptop with pre installed windows 7 home basic. Unfortunately before a month ago i format my laptop due to technical error at the time of restarting therefore i lost my genuine windows 7 home basic version. now, i want to recover my original windows version with the help of product key which is availabe at back side of my laptop.

 

is it possible? if yes, please provide process instruction. Thanks

Assuming the Recovery disk set was not made, then it will be difficult to get the Windows 7 Home Basic media made for that specific unit.  Assuming you are outside the USA, as Home Basic was not a stand for USA customers, then look for used Windows 7 Home Basic installed media.  You can then use the product key on the case sticker to activate the install, assuming it has not been used before.  I have not installed Windows 7 Home Basic , so I assume it has the ability to skip inserting the product key until after the install is finished, like the Windows 7 Home version does.

You may be able to create a Media yourself to install a basic W7 from here...

BUT is is not going to be as good as the HP original.
