@Cosimo60 -- can you run the "HP Hardware Diagnostics", to confirm that your computer's hardware is OK?

Ho fatto il controllo che mi hai suggerito e risulta tutto Ok. eseguito una nuova copia del disco di ripristino e l'errore continua ad esserci, comunque grazie del suggerimento.

@Cosimo60 -- ‎I did the check you suggested and everything is Ok. made a new copy of the recovery disk and the error continues to be there, anyway thanks for the suggestion.‎

 

Did you run the "long" (many minutes, maybe a few hours) test of your disk-drive?

 

Can you replace the disk-drive, and try to install onto it? Does it also fail?

The error code 0x80004005 mostly occurs when your device meets one or more of the following reasons:

 

• Missing Dpcdll.dll file.
• System file corruption.
• Problems with Windows Update.
• While extracting compressed files or folders.
• Renaming files or folders.

 

To fix error code 0x80004005 on Windows 11/10, try out the below solutions in no particular order and see if it resolves the ongoing issue. Here’s a list of workarounds that you should try on your computer:


1. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter
2. Run System File Checker (SFC) Commands
3. Perform DISM Command
4. Replace Dpcdll.dll File
5. Update your PC with the latest patches and SSU
6. Use System Restore point
7. Perform a Clean Install
