Hi @valkyrie1701,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To obtain a recovery disk for your Star Wars Special Edition Notebook - 15-an002nv, you have a few options to consider.

HP Recovery Media Creation Tool: If your notebook originally came with Windows 10, HP provides a tool that allows you to create recovery media on your own if you still have access to your laptop's original software. Since your HDD is broken and you've already replaced it with an SSD, this option might not be directly available to you, but it's good to know for future reference.

HP Cloud Recovery Tool: For some newer models, HP offers a Cloud Recovery Tool that allows you to download recovery software directly from the cloud and create your own recovery media. This tool can be particularly useful if you're looking to reinstall the operating system and the original software that came with your laptop, including special editions like the Star Wars apps.

thank you for answering to my question, but unfortunately i don't have any of those options. You see i want to be able to use the star wars apps on my star wars laptop and unfortunatelly i cannot. It would be good to know if there is a way even with payment to find a recovery disk for my laptop so it will recognise it and the star wars apps work

I have had the same issue. I bought my star wars laptop brand new, had to reset it, never got star wars apps to work since. Tried everything they suggest and zip, nada, zilch! The people i have been in contact with at HP are no help. Its frustrating and to ask for assistance, and get nothing back but same old "cut and paste boiler plate" responses from HP. I would appreciate any help, however, I am not going to hold my breath. May the force be with us all!
