Good afternoon,

[Personal Info. Removed]

The problem is that the computer began to freeze from the end of August after installing the update. Today it even got stuck on the procedure for entering a password into an account. I tried to roll back to the factory settings and it also hung on this procedure. Now through F11 I cannot restore, there is no return point. He asks for a recovery disk or flash drive, which I do not have. What to do? help me please

Hi:

Your notebook should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool that you can use to make the bootable USB recovery drive.

That will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool...

at startup I can only choose to boot from a bootable disk or a flash drive ... how can I create a flash drive?

HP Recommended

You need to use another Windows PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer on it to create the recovery media with the cloud recovery tool.

You don't need to create the media on the PC that doesn't work.

I understand that I am currently using MediaCreater on my second pc to create a bootable USB stick. It is right? or is there another option for cloud creation recovery flash usb.

Hi:

That error appears to be related to the HP recovery manager.

If you are sure you are booting from the installation media you made, unfortunately I wouldn't know how to fix that problem.

Another way to get your PC working again is to clean install W10 by making a bootable installation drive using the W10 media creation tool from the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
