hello

im getting an error when trying to use HP recovery media (usb)

This computer is not supported by the system recovery media... now I did put in a new hard drive and fan.

 

error is: 0100-84be-86ab,86e2,86e3

 

thoughts?  thanks

In this case you can choose to perform a Windows installation.

If the cloud recovery media failed to restore the PC, you can use the Media creation tool from the link below to create a bootable USB flash drive to clean install W10.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

After Windows 10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

You can also use the HP support assistant software to help you install the drivers your notebook needs.
