Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Need help using HP SUPPLIED usb thumb drive to perform diagnostic tests.  All UEFI tests pass but get black screen on boot.    Need information on use of the HP supplied thumb drive usage.   Where to find info.

Insert the usb flash drive in a port with machine powered off. Power up  and immediately start tapping the Esc key. This should open a menu where F9 Boot options is a choice. Tap F9 key. Use the arrow keys to move to and select/highlight USB. Next tap Enter key and follow instructions on the screen from there
