@CND641716H, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you've encountered an error with your recovery being corrupted, you can perform a factory reset with recovery media. Here’s how you can access and create the media needed for a factory reset:

Create Recovery Media:

  • Use HP Recovery Manager to create recovery media. This is often done using a USB flash drive or discs (purchased separately). On models with the HP Recovery Manager, you can usually find this utility by searching for "HP Recovery Manager" in the Windows Start menu.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to create a system recovery image.

Using Recovery Media:

  • If your initial attempt to create recovery media was unsuccessful due to a corruption issue, you can order recovery media from HP’s support site.
  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page, and navigate to the product page of your HP Notebook - 15-ay105np. There, you can find options to order recovery media suitable for your system.

Performing Recovery:

  • Once you have the recovery media, you should be able to initiate the recovery process by inserting the media (USB or Disc) and restarting your computer.
  • As the system turns on, press the boot menu key (often F11 or ESC) to select booting from the recovery media.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions for a complete factory reset.

Windows Recovery Tools:

  • If you cannot use recovery media you created, try using Windows Recovery tools to restore system settings or files.

It's crucial to back up your data before performing a factory reset or system recovery, as this process will erase all personal files and installed applications

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hello, good evening, I really appreciate your help and response.

I can't access the media through the website to perform a factory recovery.
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool Installer says it can't find the media.
F11 says the files are corrupted and won't start the factory recovery.
I really need that media to put on my USB flash drive.

Cumprimentos
