Hi  @rshe8171,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand your concern , don’t worry let me check and help you with this.

For Chromebook devices, HP does not provide Windows recovery images or traditional driver packs in the same way as Windows-based notebooks. Chromebook systems use ChromeOS, and the recovery process is typically completed using the Chromebook Recovery Utility.

Kindly review and follow the recovery guide shared here:
You can find the HP document  -  How to Do the Recovery Process in Chromebook   (16 Chapter 5 Backing up, resetting, and recovering )

You may also try these steps:

  1. Turn off the Chromebook completely.
  2. Press and hold Esc + Refresh, then press the Power button.
  3. When the recovery screen appears, follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Use another computer to create a recovery USB drive with the Chromebook Recovery Utility if prompted.
  5. Insert the recovery media and complete the ChromeOS reinstallation process.

If the operating system becomes corrupted or fails to boot, the recommended solution is usually a ChromeOS recovery using the official recovery utility. In most cases, this reinstalls the operating system and restores normal functionality without requiring separate driver installations, as ChromeOS includes the necessary drivers as part of the operating system.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
