On September 8, around 3:30 o'clock in the afternoon. I picked up my notebook (case ID: [Personal Information Removed])  in HP Taikoo Shing Repair Center.  When I received my notebook, I found a tape was on the bottom of the notebook. I asked the HP staff if the tape could be removed.  A big lady staff responded if the tape was removed, the Warranty would be void.  I asked if I could remove the tape after one year. The big lady said “after warranty”. I kept on ask “one year”.  She said “after warranty”.  It is very funny she was not willing answer me the warranty period, just “after warranty”.  She is not stupid but stubborn and not helpful. The HP Taikoo Shing Repair Center is not a revenue center. The counter staffs represent the company and their service standard should be monitor.

it is difficult to answer you, it may be different in your country
But, before the repair, there was not that, I do not see what has changed, so that it is no longer possible
Here we have this document, if you look closely, it contradicts everything that can be said about the unsupported

The user can open his computer, provided nothing is broken.
I can't advise you to remove it, before the warranty period, but I don't see why you couldn't!
