@Ram20871, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're locked out of your HP Pavilion laptop due to unauthorized access to your account. I’m here to help you reset your PC and regain control.

Option 1: Reset Your PC from the Sign-In Screen

If you're unable to log in, you can reset your PC directly from the sign-in screen:

  1. On the sign-in screen, hold down the Shift key and click the Power icon in the lower-right corner.
  2. While holding Shift, select Restart.
  3. Your PC will restart to the Choose an option screen. Select:
    • Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.
  4. Choose either:
    • Remove everything (recommended if your account was compromised).
    • Keep my files (if you want to retain personal files).
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.

Option 2: Use HP Cloud Recovery (if Windows reset fails)

If the above method doesn’t work, you can use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to reinstall Windows:

  1. On another PC, download the tool from here:
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
  2. Create a recovery USB drive.
  3. Insert the USB into your locked laptop and boot from it.
  4. Follow the prompts to reinstall Windows and reset your device.

Important Tips:

  • After resetting, create a strong password and enable two-factor authentication for your Microsoft account.
  • Consider running a full antivirus scan after setup to ensure your system is secure.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
