restore HP software

Microsoft update sent my screen to black.  I tried various recovery options but none worked so I reinstalled windows.  Now all of the HP software is gone, including wireless network options.  Can I reinstall HP operating system, drivers, and software from a download on a different computer to a USB drive?  If so, where can I get the necessary file and what is the files name?
