Hi:
Your notebook has one memory slot, so you would have to remove the 8 GB memory chip and replace it with a 16 GB memory chip.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info.
This would be a compatible 16 GB memory chip for your notebook...

Hi:
I don't think you can clone a SATA boot configuration to a NVMe boot configuration because they use totally different storage controllers.
See this discussion. The person had the same issue you are having.

Use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook on the new SSD.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this purpose.

You cannot use the same recovery tool I posted in the link because that is only for supported HP business class PC's.

Hi Paul, thanks for trying to help, well it seems that it works i ended paying for easeus service. it is the most cost effective as they charge monthly as opposed to macrium and aiomei.
But your answers is right i can do it with a usb recovery drive but this require to reinstall everything and transfer the files from old ssd to new one. This method is not free but works pretty well so far.
Thanks,
