HP 15 Laptop PC

I'm very new at owning an HP product. Infact I dont think I've ever owned HP. I got a laptop at WalMart yestarday and I set it up. My screen has been showing lines, and then it will flicker. Sometimes the screen will flicker a lot, and sometimes it doesnt do it for a while. I noticed it's not doing it on the Task Manager, but then it did do it on the Task Manager... I THINK I am running on Windows 10.. i read that it could be an app causin it, or a Display Driver issue.. please be kind and dont use all this tech talk, as I am not tech savvy .. think 30 year old female.. thanks in advance..

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

You paid for free HP Tech Support as part of the warranty coverage, so you might as well make use of it.

While this PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP Customer Support directly to have them put you in touch with HP Technical Support to see what they can do about troubleshooting and repairing your machine remotely.

I did this recently and the HP Tech was able to remotely access my PC from the Internet to check out the problems.

If they are unable to fix your PC, then you need to explore what options you have to get it replaced under the warranty.

Contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!

If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (650) 857-1501.

Tech Support's number is 1 (800) 474-6836.

Thank you for your response. Spoke with Tech Support last night and they said since it’s a brand new computer and it started doing this out of the box, than it’s a faulty computer. They said to take it back to where I purchased it and exchange it. Thank you!
