Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

The battery is likely either the 4-cell or the 3-cell battery described in the Maintenance and Service Guide

Description
4 cell, 70 Whr battery for use in models with GeForce RTX 3050 or 3050 Ti graphics

IMPORTANT: The connector pin assignments differ between batteries. To avoid damage to the system
board, be sure to use the correct battery based on the graphics used in the computer.

Neither of these are "big" batteries -- the battery in your computer might not be strong enough to power game play.

What?

A popular trend:

Skinny, light-weight, compact system

Consequences include smaller batteries, squished keyboards, and (perhaps) fewer ports.

Consider using AC power when playing games or using the system in ways that require extra power.

What else?

Conserve power where you can do so.

Use a "plain" display background, reduce the number of shortcuts on the Desktop, close unused programs when gaming.

The general rule:  If you don't need it, turn it down, shut it off, keep it plain and simple.
