You can make a USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery tool, that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Since the Stream does not have a removable internal drive, how do you know the OS has been removed?

Hi:

W7 is not supported and will not install on your PC.

Intel never developed a W7 eMMC storage controller driver for the 32 GB flash storage drive your notebook has.

W7 does not have the USB 3 drivers in order to even begin to install.

Your only options are to make the W10 USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery tool or use the Microsoft media creation tool to create a bootable USB drive to clean install W10.
