Blue screen, no cursor, message: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then you can restart. 100% complete. (a hard restart does nothing) If you call a support person give them this info: power safe issue , PNp watch and code Stop code 0xc000021a" and They say they cannot help, although they were the problem, and they say it's an issue with an old laptop and HP's inability to deal with Windows 10. - Use Windows search to find Command Prompt. Right-click on it and choose Run as Administrator. If asked, enter the password.
- In the CMD window type sfc /scannow. Be patient until the process is finished.
- Check if the problem persists.
In case you couldn’t run SFC scan, give DISM scan a go:
- This scan may take up to 20 minutes. After this scan, run SFC scan again.
- Check if the problem was solved.
