If not, to check the drive you have to follow these steps: 1) Press Esc key repeatedly, several times a second, while rebooting the laptop. Do NOT hold the key down, just press it over and over. 2) Eventually, you will see an HP Startup Menu 3) Press the Function key for testing the hard drive (usually F2) and let it run.

Thank you for your valuable response. I did the same process you mentioned in your answer. While pressing esc, startup menu opened. In which , I did diagnostic scan for hard drive. And guess what! No hard drive found !! So, now I guess my hard drive is crash.
If it is crash and my Pc is not working, even then is there any other possibility to back up my data from hard drive ??
