step by step instructions on how to Recover my computer with a USB

i purchased my notebook from curry's pc world (UK), and it came with a 'Knowhow Set up USB' which i know need to use.  Can someone please provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to use it (eg put the recovery disk in before trying to switch on power etc etc).  Need an instruction guide for dummies......

Unless someone else here has actually used the Curry Recovery Media, we are not able to provide step-by-step instructions in the use of third-part (i.e., non-HP) apps and utilities.

You would need to check with the seller to get that kind of information.
