Hi @omarziani123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I’m sorry you’re stuck at Automatic Repair, especially with important work on the computer. Please do not reset or reinstall Windows yet, because Microsoft notes that some recovery options can result in data loss and recommends protecting important files before proceeding.

The password request you are seeing is coming from the Windows Recovery Environment. Before we make any changes to Windows, I’d like to rule out a storage or memory hardware problem.

First, run the HP hardware diagnostics

  1. Turn the computer completely off.
  2. Turn it on and immediately press Esc repeatedly.
  3. When the Startup Menu appears, press F2.
  4. Open System Tests and run the available test.
  5. If a test fails, please note the 24-digit Failure ID.

Because Windows is currently unable to boot, HP specifically recommends using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI, which runs outside Windows and helps isolate hardware failures from Windows/software problems.

If the hardware tests PASS, we can concentrate on Windows recovery rather than hardware.

Regarding the password, if the account shown is a Microsoft account, Microsoft provides an official password-reset process when the account password is not being accepted.

For now, please avoid Reset this PC, factory recovery, or reinstalling Windows so we don't unnecessarily risk your important files.

Please reply with your exact HP computer model, Windows version, and the result of the F2 System Test (Passed or the 24-digit Failure ID), and we can guide you from there.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
