Hi all,

 

Why my laptop stuck on windows logo screen before reformat?

Before that i already replaced new hardisc and than insert CD windows. After boot from cd its stuck at windows logo.

Need your help on my issue.

First of all, Windows 7 does not come on a CD -- it is far too large for that.  It only comes on a DVD.  So, if you are really inserting a CD into your PC, that is likely a Repair CD and that can not be used to install Windows.

 

Second, I believe that if you actually boot from a Win7 DVD you will not see the HP logo, so seeing the logo implies you are still trying to boot from the drive, and since it is blank, that is not going to work.  You need to go into your BIOS settings and change them to boot from the Windows DVD.
