Product: hp elitebook-x360 830 g9

Hi, i am helping a user with his hp elitebook x360 830 g9 windows 11 pc.

After a clean reboot (the laptop had no issues at all) windows asks for bitlocker pin.

The laptop has only one local account (i.e. completely unmanaged, no AD, no domain, no micrsoft logon account,...) so

he has no clue about his key.

He also verified if his office365 account has any key stored, there are no keys on ms.

How can i help him to fix this bitlocker unwanted, never requested, issue ? His data are on the encrypted ssd and some

of it is unique. We are facing a big work issue with economic damage.

Is there a faq, a known step by step procedure to solve ? It looks like a system issue. The user did nothing to set up bitlocker.
